The FPW-50 filter is designed for emergency drinking water supply for a group of 10 people. The filter's capacity is 50 l/h, and the treatment of 20 liters of raw water occurs within approximately 25 minutes from the moment the electric pump is activated.
An electric pump is used to pump water, which can be powered from a car cigarette lighter socket or directly from the battery via an adapter. In the event of an electric pump failure or lack of power source, water pumping can be performed using the manual hand pump included in the filter kit.
Columns with various media are utilized in FPW-50 filters, including:
Activated carbon DT0 (optionally with KDF 55 media);
Activated carbon DTX (optionally with KDF 55 media);
Activated carbon DTY (optionally with KDF 55 media);
Cation exchange resins;
Anion exchange resins.
The columns hold PZH hygiene certificates approving them for contact with drinking water. Upon customer request, the columns can be filled with any filtration media.
Versatility - the devices can function efficiently not only as a specialized element of equipment for uniformed services but also as integrated civilian systems in areas affected by a shortage of water suitable for drinking.
Short time to obtain drinking water - the deployment time of the filter to obtain potable water is 60 minutes.
Mobility - the design of the filters allows for easy and rapid relocation.
Quality - the filters are subject to military standards and, consequently, undergo a series of tests before being delivered for use.
Wide spectrum of application - they are primarily used in the event of a need for emergency delivery of clean water resulting from biological, chemical, or radioactive contamination. Water can be drawn from all water bodies and then subjected to an appropriate treatment process allowing for the procurement of drinking water.
